Kindle Fire Update 6.3.1 Loaded With New Features

Kindle Fire Update version 6.3.1. is now available on Amazon. This software update brings to you features like purchasing with password protection and blocked access to Silk web browser among many others. The update comes a month after the version 6.3 update where we got to see increased sharing options, Wi-Fi reconnect and moving rental timing tweaks. Kindle users who are parents can now add additional controls and disable access to specific content libraries. You may choose to do a manual update by tapping the Quick Settings icon in the upper right corner of your Kindle Fire and then tapping "Sync." Or you can wait for your Kindle to automatically update itself in the next few days when you log onto a Wi-Fi network.

[IMG]Giving you a summary of the update features, there are facilities like sharing a particular paragraph of text from a #-Link-Snipped-# book to a social network of your choice. Users can  create an archive of their personal documents in the Amazon Cloud. Book-lovers have a good news because while reading a book if you want to see some supplemental material related to it, the 'Book Extras' feature helps you access it without leaving the current book. This option appears by tapping the bottom of the screen and choosing from the menu options.

The thousands of titles in 'print replica textbooks' feature saves upto 60% off the list price of the print textbook. With Reading View on #-Link-Snipped-#, the content that you're interested in is elevated above the clutter in a reading-optimized, single screen view (even for multi-page articles). The full page is still available in the background, allowing you to easily toggle back to a traditional view to see other interesting features on the page.
