Job Application Covering Letter - Don't Use SMS Language

You might be a cool dude on the social networking sites and no one can use the sms lingo like you; but the professional world out there still requires you to use correct English. I totally get pissed off to see the 'casual' approach many students take while applying for jobs. A typical covering letter looks like this -

hiiii sir...
i m <name> 4m <city>. i hav read ur ad on d site for bloggers. i hv passion 4 writing and i like 2 read tech news every day...im also very witty...so pls consider my application..

expecting qik reply sir.....
thanking u
<name>


Upon reading first few words; we'd just delete your application. I hope you got the point.

    Ha ha!!! How could in the world, someone, who is seeking for a job could write such a letter? Even for the lowest grade of jobs, this applicant would be rejected, due to lack of communication! 😲
