Yes CEans I was lucky to read this article that General Motors who is one of the best automobile manufacturers in world claimed to be at no.1 position in PATENT BOARD LIST for innovating more clean energy patents.GM has claimed patents at an average of more than 60 to 70 patents every year and it maintains its consistency in contributing to auto industry.Thoug GM had been suffering from bankruptsy it still focuses on the R&D department which brings honour to the company.6a00d83451b18a69e20134892df4b2970c-500wi

How important is R&D department for the sustainable development of a company.

    R&D is like the back bone of any firm It is one continuous source of income ?

    If a company has money they can develop the patent into further product and make millions Secondly If a company lacks money they can sell some of their patents to make money quick time

    GM has been working in this field for long enough time that they ought to be at No1 spot. R&D definitely points to a win-win situation for them. this directly refects in their cars.
