Is FM taking over MW/SW services on radio?
We're doing a survey throughout India to estimate the importance of MW/SW services of All India Radio(aakashvani). As the technology is improving, people are now listening more to FM on radio. It is a project for Technical audit of MW (Medium Wave – frequency from 530 to 1620KHz) & SW (Short Wave - frequency from 3 to 30 MHz) services of All India Radio for its Reach and Effectiveness.
