iPhone 5 Rumors

iPhone 4 sells like a hot cake just like any other Apple products. However, iPhone 4 had its own share of problems (antenna, 'grip of death') that put many people back from buying it. The rumors are all over the Internet that iPhone 5 may be launched sooner than expected. Couple of sources are pointing that the iPhone 5 will be released in summer of 2011.

The source of rumors is in Taiwan where the company named "Kinsus" manufactures the hardware for iPhone along with processor. Apple is said to be working on ARM based A8 SoC application processor. A8 SoC chip may consist of a dual-core processor with PowerVR SGX543 graphics on same silicon. MacRumors had earlier reported that future smartphones will have PowerVR SGX543 graphics which supports dual-core processors and also OpenCL (aka Open Computing Language currently used on Apple MAC OSX).

With the high-end hardware being planned and updates to the iOS in progress we can expect more desirable Apple products in future. However, I hope that they work on a better battery for all their devices. What's your take on it?
