iPhone 5 Launch On September 12th Very Likely, Believe Sources

If iMore is to be believed, the Apple iPhone 5 will make its first public appearance on 12th September this year, while its release will happen 9 days later on the 21st of September. Also, the iPad mini and the iPod nano are to be announced during the same event. Regarding the hardware front, what's believed is that the iPad mini shall very much be like the 9.7-inch iPad, but scaled down by about 80 percent. iPhone 5 prototype versions were developed in both 3.5-inch and 4-inch variants, but the 4-inch one gets the final nod from Apple. It's also siad that all new iOS devices coming up now will feature smaller Dock connector, which with the nano-SIM and in-cell display shall leave enough space for the LTE radio plus a bigger battery.
