iPhone 5 Launch On August 7 With Keynote; Production Begins In China?

If the reliable sources of #-Link-Snipped-# are to be relied on, there is some awesome news for Apple Fanboys. iPhone 5, the most awaited smartphone of 2012, is going to be launched on August 7 with a keynote speech in the Cupertino-based company. It has been in the news for sometime now that iPhone 5's release date is expected in Quarter 3 (August to October). But, since there is no official word from Apple, we had no reason to believe any of these rumors.

According to the current reports, iPhone 5 will arrive with iOS 6 and may bring with it an updated UI, advanced maps, Facebook and iCloud integration, plus some tweaks to the camera. Apple is also expected feature a much larger 4-inch Retina display on the iPhone 5 with support for NFC, an updated Siri and 1GB of RAM. Apart from this, there are talks of a  re-designed casing and a micro dock. This about sums up all the things that the tech-town is abuzz with, when it comes to Apple's next big release.

Adding fuel to the rumor-fire, a japanese blog called #-Link-Snipped-# has reported that factories in China have begun the production of the next iPhone. Since, it can take almost 2 months for the handset to be shipped to retailers, we can say that August 7 could be the day when we have Apple's official announcement. With the d-day thought of to be just 3 weeks away, we are sure Apple fans are already getting goosebumps.
