ICE Xtreme 7-Inch Android 4.0 Tablet Launches In India at Rs. 6999

After #-Link-Snipped-# into the budget tablet segment, a relatively new company ICE X Electronics has made a new offering to the ever increasing market. ICE Xtreme runs Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on an Allwinner A10 processor that clocks out at maximum of 1.5GHz. It has a Mali 400 GPU which supports Open GL ES 2.0 and a 1GB DDR 3 RAM. Its 7 inch WVGA capacitive screen supports up to 5 point touch input and has a resolution of 800*400 pixels.

The battery is a Lithium Polymer battery of 4700mAh but there is no official confirmation regarding the battery backup time. In terms of internal memory this one has 8GB NAND storage and a T-Flash storage of 8 GB, which makes a total of 16GB and if the user wants more storage, microSD cards of up to 32 GB are supported by this device. The tablet has a front facing 2MP camera that can shoot photos and videos. It supports all the major media formats and comes loaded with over 100 apps. It provides Wi-Fi, HDMI ports, USB 2.0 which supports 3G dongles and a mini USB port for connectivity purposes. This device weighs approximately 350 grams and is available in two colors black and white. Interested buyers can head over to the company website to order the device. Well, it will be on the shelves of your nearest electronics shop soon too.

The company has also announced two new products which will arrive in the market soon. The two devices are - ICE Xtreme-II which would be the first tablet to feature wireless charging and another unnamed device that will convert your HDTV into an Android device.
