The company is all set to launch its new mid size car early this October as previously planned. The car which is christened as Hyundai Eon is projected as a tough contender for midsized cars in the subcontinent.  However it will take a lot of time for the automaker to gain a significant share in market for it is still a new step of the Korean giant in this segment.

The car will be powered by a three cylinder petrol engine which is kept to ensure that the vehicle gives a decent performance with a good mileage. Although there is nothing extraordinary in this car, it is basically aimed at being a small family sized automobile. The Hatchback has a price tag of INR 300,000 associated with it excluding the taxes.
The Hatchback which was named as H800 while on production line will replace #-Link-Snipped-#. The design of Eon is a bit different from Hyundai's i-series car, though it bears some similarities to Santro. The designers have taken serious efforts to reduce costs and to give the machine a best possible look.
