    Huawei Honor 8 Pro made by Huawei under the sub-brand Honor is all set for the launch in India soon. The company previewed the device in the country today. Honor 8 Pro, an up gradation over Honor 8, sports a beefed up battery capacity, more RAM with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device incorporates 5.7-inches Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 515 PPI.

    It is powered by company’s own Kirin 960 SoC clocked at 2.4 GHz with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. There is a provision of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card. Backed up by a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, rear fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.

    On photography front, it houses 12-megapixel (Monochrome) + 12-megapixel (RGB) Dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a recording capacity of 4k videos. There is an 8-megapixel front snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats.

    Additionally the device comes with VR cardboard style box packaging and Cardboard glasses also featuring GoPro’s Quik app to edit and apply filters to videos. Honor 8 Pro would retail in Navy Blue, Platinum Gold, and Midnight Black variants and is expected to be officially launched in the country sometime in July.
