American Technology giant HP has unveiled its novel EliteBook range, EliteBook 1030 for its users to blend in business with pleasure. Priced at $1,249 (roughly Rs. 80,000), the laptop will go on sale by the end of this month. The device featuring a 13.3-inch screen will be available in two models; one with non-touch full-HD display and the other with Quad-HD display touch.
It boasts of an all metal fanless design featuring the industry's first self-healing PC BIOS with runtime monitoring. Powered by 1.1 GHz sixth generation Intel Core M Processor it comes with 512 GB of SSD storage. The device further includes up to 16 GB of RAM and a USB Type-C port, two Micro-USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Di, Miracast, WLAN 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity.
EliteBook 1030 is spill resistant with a back lit keyboard offering upto 13 hours of the battery life. Some added specs include hardened on-sensor fingerprint reader, HP Sure Start with Dynamic Protection for data protection; serving the management needs is an optional Intel vPro4 and LanDesk Management.
HP has teamed up with Bang & Bang Olufsen for powering up the audio speakers on its EliteBook 1030. The device which packs an additional Corning Gorilla Glass cover on screen will be available for purchase with a sign-in notification on its site, the instant it is made available.
