    I got the solution.
    .
    slim(current) slim(past) trim(past).
    2k x k

    2k=24.
    k=12.
    we know that trim is of x years old now.
    so,
    k+(2k-x)=x.
    3k-x=x.
    3k=2x.
    x=3k/2.
    put k=12.
    and now trim is of x=18.
    .
    Am i right rishi ??
