  • How can i look for job in foreign countries while working in India?

    Hi,

    I am presently working in IT industry having 3 years of experience.
    I now feel to move to some other country like US or Canada.
    Since i am working in a product based company, there is no way i can get an onsite from my company.
    So is it possible any any means that I can apply jobs in such countries so that i can get a job from here only and then i can move to that place and settle there finally?

    Is there some way or some consultancy who provides such option ?

    Please guide me as i am very desperate to go and settle in foreign.

    There are immigration specialists who might help you. You might want to apply to a startup company because it's relatively easier to talk to a real person, recruiter for the company and work out your situation. Once you get a job and clear the VISA formalities, you will be able to join the company.

    Once you've entered the foreign country, you will be able to switch jobs.

    One idea is , if you think of Singapore as destination then apply and upload your resume in that particular portal and might be you will get a call and they will do the processing.

    But if you talk about US or UK then you need to approach consultancies.

    That's a query of so many people in IT service companies. Initially, these people wait for on-site opportunity for up to 2-3 years, but when they realize there's no way they are getting the opportunity to fly abroad anytime soon, they start looking for a job switch.
    There's awfully low amount of information available for employed professionals looking to switch both the company and the country.

    This rings an opportunity, but we cant trust many consultancies which claim they will provide something. I know many people who just waste money 😀

    Depends on the foreign company you want to work with. If you're working a field where meeting in person is required then you are out of option.
