    Better way of asking your question would be like this:

    ---

    "I wish to build a software for [myself] [my college project] [hobby] etc. and here are some of the ideas I'm thinking of -

    1. Idea I: Bit of explanation.

    2. Idea II: Some information.

    3. Idea III: Some explanation about idea, features, etc. 

    I'm comfortable coding in [C, C++, Java... mention language], and also know bit of scripting. 

    Could you help me pick up one of the ideas above or make a completely new suggestion?"
