Does anyone here (or even bothered) to know the history behind Valentine's day and should you *really* be celebrating the day?
Let me quickly take you to the history so that you remain informed. There was a saint named Valentine in Europe in the era of Claudius. Claudius was a cruel king who didn't believe in Marriages; but St. Valentine was inspired from Hindu culture that promoted & believed in marriages.
Valentine became a catalyst in marrying the Christian couples which Claudius objected. As a result, Claudius decided to kill St. Valentine in front of all the couples who got married because of Valentine. The day of his killing was February 14.
Those who want to celebrate Valentine's murder may celebrate. -

Well, I shouldn't have passed on my judgement at the end of the post. But it's a fact that all the media and businesses promoted the day to make profits.Vivien.hugoI didn't know the origin! I thought that celebrate Valentine's Day is giving good wishes to all lovers! -

Yeah, once upon a time I believed the same. 😡Vivien.hugoI didn't know the origin! I thought that celebrate Valentine's Day is giving good wishes to all lovers!
But we don't need a particular day to celebrate and share Love among Family and Friends.😀 -

Yes, the media and businesses promoted the day to make profits. I think we can make some special gifts by ourselves and don't need to buy gifts.
