    Hi Aman,

    It happens all the time in GDs that someone else covers your point.
    What I would suggest in this situation is, when you think of a point to say, think of 2-3 examples from current affairs/books/media/curriculum etc. supporting that point. In this way, even if someone else puts your point, you can say something like, "I agree with his/her views and would like to emphasize over it through an example... <and then put them forward>"
