Lifehacker has an estimate of total number of servers owned by various companies. Here are few interesting stats:

INTEL: 100,000
Facebook: 30,000
Rackspace: 56,000
Akamai Technologies: 61,000
Google: 10,00,000+

Google is BIG! TOO BIG!

I wonder where does Microsoft stand. 😛

    MS does have its servers as it is known to provide emergency services to the US govt. just that it may have kept things secret for reason they only know!
