Alan Turing was a Computer Science super-hero. It isn't an exaggeration. And Google has duly paid its tribute to the legend on his 100th birth anniversary [June 23rd, 2012] today. Known famously as the father of computer science and artificial intelligence, his are the brains behind the algorithms that invented the Turing Machine. In this interactive Google Doodle, you will see an intelligence test puzzle. When you first land up on the doodle, you will have to figure out what exactly needs to be done. But, you won't take much time  to realize that you are supposed to understand the principle behind it and solve the six puzzles.

The puzzles begin as you click on the green button and the spile moves. The goal is that the Google letter to the left should be filled up with colors. In the top right, you can see a number of binary codes that need to reproduced. So, go ahead and start racking your brains to get to the solution.

In another news, Alan Turing is also being honored with an award named after him in Manchester for people who help victims of homophobia. We salute Mr. Turing for his commendable work and contribution to the field of computer science.

Update: For those who don't want to spend time cracking the puzzle, here is a video solution -
