  • The price of Samsung Galaxy S5 in India would be much lower than the competition, say the latest reports. Korean publications are informing that Samsung knows that the S5 may not see just as much response as their earlier Galaxy Sx series phones globally; because the phone does not offer big upgrade over the S4.

If that's true, Samsung Galaxy S5 price in India would be in the Rs. 34-Rs.40k range or if we all get lucky we might even see even lower price. It's also very likely that Samsung will lower the price of Samsung Galaxy S4 in Indian stores; so if you are planning to buy a new phone; get the S4! It's going to be worth the money spent.

Do you think we'll see Galaxy S5 in the Rs. 35k bracket?

Why would you buy an S5 for Rs35,000 when you can get a second hand Note 2 for Rs20000? By the end of the year, the prices of all gadgets will drop anyways right?

P.S.: How to not waste money Gyan!

@#-Link-Snipped-# - Didn't know Note 2 prices were dropped to Rs. 20k! I think for that price, it's a steal!

But people do prefer to buy the 'latest' ones, irrespective of what they're getting for the price. Latest phones have become 'status symbols' (and are rapidly losing it also).

What price tag do you think Samsung will put on the S5?

    True that!

I wouldn't care much, but since the S4 isn't reduced in price, it'd be equally priced to S4 itself.

P.S.: Apple 4 8 GB Black is now available for Rs18890 in Flipkart!!!!! First time ever to see such low prices from Apple!
