  • FIRST Robotics Drive Train?

    Hi, I am a mentor for a FIRST Robotics Team and our competition season is coming up. We are still debating what type of drive train to go with. I am leaning towards a 6 wheel tank drive with 2 CIM motors powering each side with belts connecting all three wheels. I am looking for pros and cons of other drive trains to use as a learning exorcise. Keep in mind the strongest motors we have are CIM's and we can only use four of them.
