Firefox 9 Beta Download Available - Better Performance & More

Mozilla has made available Firefox 9 Beta for download. The look and feel remain the same but there has been major upgrade in the performance. Users are excited to see the beta. The performance increase in this release is a result of a new feature developed by Brian Hackett from the Mozilla developers team. It is called 'type inference'. What it does basically is it eliminates the need of the developer defining a variable i.e. it quickly chooses how to handle Javascript itself

Users working on Mac OS X Lion will see better theme integration of Firefox 9 and the cherry on the cake comes as you get support for two finger swipe navigation (similar to Safari.) Users can also set Do Not Track status via JavaScript and get improved support for features like querying, font-stretch and text-overflow. Apart from the different stability issues that are fixed in this version, standard support for HTML5, MathML and CSS makes the user experience enriching and beautiful.

You can download Firefox 9 for #-Link-Snipped-#, #-Link-Snipped-#, and #-Link-Snipped-# and if you are a Firefox fan do not miss watching this recently released video that talks about how Add-ons put you in control of your web. The way Mozilla likes to put it - Customize, Personalize, Enhance!
