Fingerprint atm system
Project Abstract / Summary : In Fingerprint ATM system the fingerprint of the user is used as a authentication.The finger print minutae features are different for each human being so the user can be identified uniquely. Instead of using ATM card Fingerprint based ATM is safer and secure.There is no worry of losing ATM card and no need to carry ATM card in your wallet. you just have to use your fingerprint in order to do any banking transaction.The user has to login using his fingerprint and he has to enter the pin code in order to do further transaction.The user can withdraw money from his account.In order to withdraw money user has to enter the OTP. and the amount to be withdrawn.
The system will provide the user to view last 5 transactions.Biometric technologies are a secure means of authentication because biomwtrics data are unique,cannot be shared,cannot be copied and cannot be lost.In this System we will use a fake finger detection system to avoid forging of it.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : The growth in electronic transactions has resulted in a greater demand for fast and accurate identification and authentication.ID cards can be lost,forged,misplaced,passwords can be forgotten or compromised,but ones biometric is used it solves this problem.It cannot be borrowed ,stolen or easily forged.No unauthorized yser can come up with personal codes. It is more secure system than existing System.
Project Highlights : Rapid growth of banking technology has changed the way banking activities are dealt with.
Biometrics are a new trend and Fingerprint ATM system is more Safe and secure than the Existing ATM system.I want this project to win the contest so that Crime at ATM can be decresed by using this System a Biometrics technology are a secure means of authention because they cannot be shared or copied.
