Sir / madam,
My question is

There is a 5 digit no. 3 pairs of sum is eleven each. Last digit is 3 times the first one. 3rd digit is 3 less than the second. 4th digit is 4 more than second one. Find the digit

    hi..can you please explain what "3 pairs of sum is 11 each" means.....only this condition is missing else the solution will be something like this

    Let five digit no. = a b c d e

    e=3a

    c+3=b

    d=b+2

    if condition first become clear then I can solve this..Please write the complete question accurately...

    3 pairs of sum is eleven each.
    Does that mean any three pairs of digits which sum up to eleven?

    assuming the number is abcde, the answer i got is 65292.
    and this is purely based on trial and error method,along with the 3 simultaneous equations which are
    e=3a
    c+3=b
    d=b+4

    as there exist 3 pairs of digits summing up to eleven, a &e are surely not one of them as a+e=a+3a=4a (which is surely not a multiple of 11;-))
    now c+d=c+4+b=2c+7
    assuming this is equal to 11 =>c=2
    so d=9
    and b=5
    now assuming d+e is also equal to 11 we get e=2 =>a=6
    and the three pairs which sum up to 11 are :
    (a,b)(c,d)(d,e)

    P.S.i know this is fully suspended on assumptions and is prone to error....;-)
    correct me if i am wrong😁

    Your method and process is correct but the number is wrong.

    e = 3a

    6 = 3 * 2

    So the number might be 25296.

    😀

    yes i made a mistake 😡

    i took a=3e instead of 3a=e in the final step
    thanks for pointing out.....:smile:

    so there we have the answer:25296

    hope atleast this is correct.😁
