Final year project in embeded systems: coin sensors
hi everyone,
i am doing my final year and now i am ready to final project in embedded systems.. i wanted to details regarding coin sensors . my aim is to automatically collect money and as in my project i should be able to differentaite 1re coin and 5 re coin ......... and i also want to know the specifications. plz do help out i am in dilemma state as whether it could be possible or not and based on this i would proceed

You can try weight sensors as different coins have different weights. But than this will be a very easy project and not a final year level . But this is just my suggestion. You can try and see if it can get past the stage of acceptance by college panel. Also to complicate it you can use surface sensors.
