Few hours ago in the MailPipe, announcement of the <a href="https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/announce/2013-July/003167.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Announcing the release of Fedora 19!</a> has been made.
We have <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/fedora-19-codename-schrodingers-cat-features.61923">Fedora 19, Codename : Schrodinger's Cat (features)</a> about the features that's been included in the Fedora 19.
The Major features of all in Fedora 19 are :
- MariaDB which is fork of MySQL is now comes as default in Fedora 19, However you still can use MySQl as it's available in the repository. It will be removed from Fedora Repository in next update of the Fedora 20.
- <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/gnome-3-8-released.67386">GNOME 3.8 Released</a> brings some good new features on privacy & sharing settings which we have already discussed.
The installation & partitioning tool is still the same, tough for the newbie Linux users, However Fedora is not meant for desktop use, it's bleeding edge distro so no need to cry on that, right ?
let's hope, unlike Fedora 18 , Schrodinger's Cat will be far more stable, less buggy & you don't have to get mad on the error popping continuously on Fedora 19.
