Facebook SDK 3.0 For iOS Apps Released, New UI Components & Controls Included

After checking the beta version, iOS Developers looking forward to the final Facebook SDK Launch can now get their hands deep inside the kit. The SDK has come out of beta today and includes fresh new features such as ready-to-use native UI controls, improved support for calling Facebook APIs, support for modern Objective-C language features and better session management. The Facebook engineers think that this is by far the most significant SDK release and are maintaining two versions of this SDK - A beta version that will have the the iOS 6 integration features and  - A master version to have the production codebase.

Among the built-in UI components offered by this SDK, some of the common functions (as you can see from the image above) includes Login, Friend Pickers or Place Picker. So, you can drag and drop them into your apps to build your apps faster than before. Apart from this there are the obvious bug fixes and support for refined and simplified core APIs, including session and request objects. If you can't wait to get your hands on this, download the new SDK from the link mentioned in source. The engineers are waiting for your feedback at the Facebook's StackOverflow page with the tag: #-Link-Snipped-#.
