Evernote, the digital notebook app maker company and Moleskine, the physical notebook manufacturing company are now working together to output something new for their customers. They have together created, what they call as - Evernote Smart Notebook. It includes a Moleskine-produced normal notebook, that includes dotted square or ruled pattern. After taking notes in this Moleskine product, users can click an image of the page with Evernote's updated version (4.4) for iPad and iPhone. The improved version includes a page camera, specially designed to click physical pages and documents which improves page contrast and removes shadows. Also, the camera looks for dotted pattern in the notebook and corrects the skew. Clicked pages can then be saved, organized and searched, making them easily available for future reference.

The notebooks come packed with multicoloured 'smart stickers' which classify a specific page into a pre-defined category. For instance, if a user sticks one of the multicoloured stickers on a sheet and then clicks an image, Evernote recognizes the sticker and associates a tag with the clicked image. The stickers come with pre-defined tags but can be customized according to user's requirement.

The notebooks will be available from 1st October and would come in two sizes- pocket size (3.5" x 5.5" ) for $ 24.95 and a large size ( 5" x 8.25" ) that costs $29.95. Excited ones can go for a pre-order on #-Link-Snipped-#.
