Staying ahead of time, Document Management Start-Up Doo.net has launched a Metro-Style app for upcoming Windows 8 OS. Strangely though, the startup is not yet out with its app version for Windows 7.
Doo.net's app for Windows 8 and OSX, focuses on helping people and businesses with their stack of documents and find better ways to organize them using the cloud. Documents are locally stored on the app with a copy or back-up saved on the cloud. The Metro-app has a neat design and provides organization between companies, document types, people, places, etc. Doo.net also offers compatibility with Dropbox, Google Docs, so that the user can integrate all his docs in a single e-mail account using IMAP.

Doo.net founder and CEO Frank Thelen believes that Windows 8 has the potential to flourish. With the new Microsoft announcement which offers XP, Vista, and 7 owners an upgrade at a cheaper price, Windows 8 might have a good reception afterall. The growing popularity of the Surface tablet is only an added bonus.
Doo.net also has a working Mac app for Apple users to help organize documents. The app for Windows 7 is currently under progress and is expected to launch this year with mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
