my preference list was like this 1)CDAC Pune, 2) CDAC Banglore, 3) Sunbeam Gultekdi.

Is CDAC Knowledge Park good for WMIC course? How's the placements scenario there?

wimc is good as per placement record and cdac kp is 2nd best overall(just littl bit behind pune)
but for wimc it icomes at 3rd after acts puneand sunbeam.....so if u r not getting pune/sunbeam ,
kp is good choice

i fill for other too but got it does any buddy have idea about its placement in acts pune

wimc overall have good placement credentials but as per some seniors it should be prefer only if you are not getting dac or desd

but if u r really interested in wireless,android programming etc then it is best field 4 u

i have also filled my 3rd preference as wimc pune (though i get my 2nd choice so no regrets at all)

plus pune is best centre overall

so choose based on ur long time career as it is pgd course .....

but in my personal opinion if u get dac in pune/banglore kp/sunbeam go 4 it
otherwise wimc in pune is best option left as per u r rank also..

my preference list certainly went wrong so i want to change it...for that i'll have to wait till 4th round...i hve got dass in cdac banglore which do not offer placements at all...so even if i change my preference list and again keep dass at last position i m sure i'll get it..is it worth going for 4th round?

After I saw your situation I got to know that you really need help....

I can understand that as I have the almost same situation but not the money problem.

I really want to you to help....

According to me "You should have to think 100 times before joining .. even after you will get the top (cdac pune) for dac

But if you think that you do not have any other option and you are so tired then go for it but ... only top 3.. only for DAC course

I do not suggest you to go for DSSD..

I suggest you to go for only DAC... as you need placement as I think is neccessery for you

hi finally i have decided for not going in cdac for dac because i am 2012 b.tech passes out and also fullfilling tripple 65% criteria but it's better to learn an got a experience in single domain like java,dot net or php, so i can't take risk of arround 1.5 lakhs(investment over dac including all type charge) suppose if i could'nt got placed in common placement then it's near to come 2015 also so only i fall under pressure,one thing also i have alloted cdac sunbeam karad and also chance to get IACSD as per mine and humble requesting to all 2013 passed out friend should take addmission in cdac which you alloted any good cdac & please join because as per mine side it's better place to learn but for 2013 batch only.

that's is mine opinion to me i am not suggesting to what to do or not to anyone only you have to take your own decision and take suggest from your parents rather one someone else because it's your career don't be frustrate use your brain.

M one of the engineers of CE.
As I am also appearing for C-dac feb-14 batch for DIVSED.
I am in touch wid this site from well time.., and while keeping up with threads from first round allocation.

While cutting to point. I would say that You should clarify your doubts for placements directly to their c-dac puna faculty via mail or direct phone ( all centers contact no.s and mails given on site.. chk out, and only go for main c-dac center, not affiliated ones, u may asked to c-dac acts pune)..

they address your query , as you have good results , i assume u have aggregate first class. And so far with company is concerned, it may neglect that your b.tech-12 passed, but not sure.

But as advice call them , they will address your queries also you surely have did checked on net, if not you try for that, you surely have answers.you can opt out at any point though.
CE will also help you batter, as some CE has did the ACTS from various c-dac's , mostly DAC,DESD,DIVSED,DVLSI,DWIMAC.

You have good opportunity, give a second thought.. and its just saying friendly. at last only up to you.

for particular Wi-MAC, it have good placement record(u can also check in placement tab on c-dac site. check the graph... )..

One of my friend did the course of wi-mac from bangalore (don't know the center), and he got placed.

So, as per demand of the market today, its having good placement.

In first round, which center is allocated to you. Coz it will remain for you.

And what is your second round seat allocation,?
And in second allocation , you may loose , because till that time, we should choose one seat, coz in second counseling, who were not allocated seats in first counseling will get chance, So You may block this seat.

I will suggest, you should call up c-dac center (any main center for that matter), They have concerned persons allocated for students problems.
So, You may call up and ask them directly, They will able to give you satisfactory answers to your problem.

So, there is no way that you can check who else joining with you, And till the last round your center might be also upgrade.

So wait until the counseling gets finished., than only you can know who else joining where...😀

I would suggest, wait for third round., if you're not satisfied with the first two results.

As there seat allocation is done on the basis of availability of seat for your preferred center with your rank for that course. There will be many till third round.In bangalore, solely on your rank its tough. But check it till third round coming.

One of my friend did the course of wi-mac from bangalore (don't know the center), and he got placed.

So, as per demand of the market today, its having good placement.

yes, Some of c-dac authorized centers does the placement on their own.

hi,

As in 2nd counseling they allocate seats which are left empty in first round to the students who don't get any seats or seats of their choices if they have withdrew seats allocated in first round.

As in my search, If you withdrew your seat in first allocation, than it may given to the students ranking after you.. if they choose, you may not find empty seat at your choicest center.

So, its a risk for second counseling, if you want to take, its upon you. there is no guarantee that you get to top of your pref. list.

There is third round is still left in 1st counseling round., there is chance that you may get to top of pref. list...

Yes, i agree you filled wrong choices, but your not alone in that.

Yes trivendrum is good ,because c-dac have standards that applied on all c-dac mains regardless of their location. So faculties will be good and placement is good as per they show on site.(But remember its all centralized.. i think it comes under bangalore center for placement)

however there is very little chance (considering if someone withdrew their allocation for second round.) for up-gradation to pune-acts (As its first choice for students).And there is no sure-fix way to say that you will get, As withdrew also happens and sometimes student may have second thoughts for c-dac. In this scenario, Waiting for third round is option.

And if you not getting what you want than go for second round but caution is (as c-dac admission rule states) the seats will allocated as per your rank and availability of the center. so its chance.

In my suggestion , your allocation is done in trivendrum, and if u wanted to pursue course in c-dac ,.. its good..

why ur not allowed for second round..??

As per guideline , you can withdrew the current seat and can go for second round..
Please go through the second round guidelines , and for more clear view, call on c-dac pune (HQ) center for more clarification...
I am also uploading pdf for guidelines for 2nd counseling .. I hope It will clear some of your doubts...

If you asking me from center you've mentioned..
I would suggest
1. c-dac bangalore (E-City)
2. Sunbeam pune (Gultekdi)
3. C-dac Hydrabad
4. IACSD Pune.

This are from my point of view (based search on net for placement and faculty for particular course. correct me if wrong)..

For DAC bangalore is always good to prefer , not to mention for many It companies are there,But also good faculty...
I am also attaching a pdf for second counseling guidelines . In that you can find the centers which are full, having probable vacancy, and having full vacancy , for your refrence...

Hi sonal..

In c-dac your criteria (as asked from some companies, And best of my knowledge, correct me if wrong)

The criteria is through out 60 % for b.tech and in rare case company may ask for 12th score. But through out 60 % for whole education time is not asked in general. (however I have come across Only one interview where they have asked 60% for 10,12,b.tech , but its rarest case.. )

So, It should not be a problem if you have below 60% in 10th. 😀👍👍

Its bit difficult to get DAC with that rank as per your list , maybe you can get in IACSD or Infoway, also for WIMC both CDAC,pune and Sunbeam take candidates with higher rank .

Hi....here are your answers (not an expert's advice)

1. Yes, you have secured a descent rank
2. Best institute, I think, is course dependent. However, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad are the best-known.
3. No. You can get into any 1 of those you had applied for, while filling the application form.
4. To know that I would suggest you to go through the course modules and analyze by yourself.
5. The recruiters list is available at the Cdac website. You may check it.
6. It completely depends on your field of interest. Presently we have a good market demand in Mobile sector. But on the other hand DAC is evergreen. So choose wisely.

E city- as i have heard about this institute that faculty is not so good but placement is good.
