TIN number - (Taxpayer Identification Number) it is 11 digit unique number issued by the state government to identify the dealers registered under VAT. It is compulsory to mention this number in all the VAT returns.

DIN number -(Director Identification Number) is a unique number issued to an existing or a future Director of a company and is also very important for company registration.

VAT-(value added tax) it is an indirect tax which is levied at each stage right from production to distribution on the value added at each stage.

TAN (tax deduction and collection account number) it is 10 digit alphanumeric number alloted to those who are supposed to deduct tax at source and it is also necessary to mention this number in TDS and TCS returns.

PAN(permanent account number) it is a 10 digit alphanumeric number issued by the Income Tax department to individuals/Huf/company etc to keep a check on financial transactions.

DSC (digital signature certificate) it is an electronic authorisation and an identity proof of an individual for online transactions.
