Loudness is a measure of the energy in the sound. It is the intensity of the sound. Pitch is loosely used interchangeably with frequency. However, pitch has to do with human perception of the frequency. The same frequency of sound may appear to be varying in pitch (either increasing or decreasing) as the intensity increases depending on the value of the frequency.

So, loudness would be the 'amplitude' of the waves and the pitch would be the frequency. Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

Yes, with a proviso that pitch is a psychologically modified perception of the frequency by the human ear. The same frequency may be perceived to be of different pitches. Musicians use this creatively to create subtle effects.The_Big_KSo, loudness would be the 'amplitude' of the waves and the pitch would be the frequency. Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -
