Diametral pitch of rack?

Please tell me how to find diametral pitch for a rack to mesh with a pinion, as there is no diameter for rack.

You answered your own question. The PCD of a rack is infinity, just like the diameter of a straight line is infinity.

If you need to match a rack and a pinion, you need to match their tooth size. Addendum, dedundum, tooth length and thickness; the whole works.
