I Agree. burecurates and politician tried screwing it big time.

However, in place of counting all bad things, if we will start counting good things, they are endless.

Beleive me, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Opening and closing cermony location), will show best of the view in cermonies. Better than earlier held olympics and CWG's.

Also, other stadiums are good. Un-fortunately, Media is showing only the part which is remaiing, not the one that is done.

Hope that CWG-2010 will be a grand success and will bring pride to nation after completion.

    Two questions:

    1) How can you be sure that it will be better than any other competition ever held including Olympics? Statistically and given the current situation that is highly improbable.

    2) Why are things still "remaining to be done" 4 days before the event? Everything should have been "done" a few months ago.

Apologies, correcting my sentence, "I am not too surefor that, i am hoping for the best.

All the mandatory things are already completed. In all 90% things are done, its just 10% (not that mandatory) that media is showing.

If we cant help it, we can hope that it will be successful and will not bring defame to country.

I'm with the media in this case. CWG is of national importance and Mr. Kalmadi should have made sure that there is no corruption and no place for anyone to point figures. Media might be blowing the things out of proportion, but the spokesperson of the CWG had no satisfactory answers. I agree that people should look at the positive side; but the negative side should NOT be ignored.

The corrupt mus be punished. I wonder why Mr. Kalmadi is till the boss? Why is Sheila Dixit still the CM of Delhi? Anyone?

CWG village may look stunning, but dogs sleeping in guests rooms is no excuse.

    I do agree with you.

However, personally I feel that this is not the right time to fix these folks. Let the game finish then deal with mr. CWG cheif and let election come and fix up Cheif.

Dogs footprints in the two rooms is really un-excuseable. However, I just wonder why media is not showing Hundereds of rooms which are really world class?

Anyways this was not the motive of the thread.

    Medal hopes for India:

    Badminton: Saina Nehwal,
    Tennis: Paes-bhupati

    Folks, start counting...

Till now india has 96 medals in all and at the second position.

India is assured of fulfilling the promise of winning 100 medals, infact India can win more than 100 medals as P.Ghatak/M.Das are also fighting for Bronze in women's doubles TT.

4 medals for todays are assured (Hockey team, Saina Nehwal, J. Gutta / Ashwini in finals and TT doubles for bronze both the players are from India)

Lets see if India can clinch 3 gold and beat England in medal tallay.
