CrazyEngineers Meet in Hyderabad is being declared. All those interested can join us on 10th June in the evening.

Agenda of the meet -

1. Introduction of CE - what we are, what we do, what we plan to do & how/where/when about CE.
2. Suggestions & Feedback for CE community (casual talk)
3. All those who want to share their projects/ideas they are working on can bring them along to the meet. If they are just your projects ideas, bring them on paper or through laptops. If it is a working model of anything that you have made in the past (hobby projects/college projects) and you can carry it along to the meet, it will be awesome.
4. Snacks/Coffee time
5. Group activity (Not planned.)
6. [Open to what other CEans have to share/offer. If you have ideas share them in responses.]

Compulsory criteria for all attendees -

Every CEan must bring one or more (no limit to how many) friends along with him/her to the meet. Ask your engineer friends to create an account (register) on CE forums before coming to the meet.
There is no age-limit or criteria as to who you can bring along with you. Anyone who is interested in meeting CEans and would like to be a part of an all engineers community is welcome.
If there is someone from the engineering industry, who are willing to come to the meet and share his/her experiences, that will be nice.

Hey just now seeing this post 😳 sorry.. we cannot confirm now. Got my exams till june 6th. and these ppl are postponing exams again and again 😔 plus i'll have to report at the institutions in mid june (if i get through that is 😛)... So nothing clear for me till june 😕 so is the case for madhu.

So you guys carry on 😀 In case i'm joining i'll let you guys know as soon as possible 😀

Just wanted to throw in my inputs: Instead of making the meet 'bigger' why not focus on making it fruitful? I think it'd be only possible if the most regular CEans join the meet. Just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

Nope. I am working on it. We have one month to go. I am thinking of creative ideas that all CEans should do before coming to the meeting and then the points related to CE that can be discussed.
A small presentation about CE from me will be a part of the meeting for sure.
If there is anything that any CEans who are attending would like to suggest, we are open for ideas.

A central place in Hyderabad that is reachable to all, preferably a coffee shop will do.
Also, see that the venue is such that we can have access to the internet.

I discussed with #-Link-Snipped-#, I understood that there are people from all the places of city, so it would be better if we conduct the meet at a center point in the city.

There is one more coffee shop at Himayatnagar and it has wifi.

Once the people who are coming is confirmed, for people from other places I will PM my mobile number such that I will guide you to reach that place.

Well, the trouble with coffee day bars is that they play loud music and it's almost impossible to hold conversations. I'd not suggest coffee day; have had bad experiences with all the meets held at CCDs. Is there any place where there's silent/no music?

Seems they will put the banner for CE meet in mid may. I am planning to book the tickets in two days. I don't find the bus details in Redbus.in on 9th june. I have to wait until they update it.

Hmm...10th June... well, I would be in Kerala at that time... and ohh, traveling from anywhere in Kerala to Hyderabad has a lot of complications....
Expect me to reach Hyderabad at about 0830 in the morning, don't ask me how i will come, because it is going to be a very complicated journey.

Here is a flexible agenda that I came up with -

1. Introduction of CE - what we are, what we do, what we plan to do & how/where/when about CE.
2. Suggestions & Feedback for CE community (casual talk)
3. Project showcase (not mandatory). All those who want to share their projects/ideas they are working on can bring them along to the meet. If they are just your projects ideas, bring them on paper or through laptops. If it is a working model of anything that you have made in the past (hobby projects/college projects) and you can carry it along to the meet, it will be awesome.
4. Snacks/Coffee time
5. Group activity (Not planned.)
6. [Open to what other CEans have to share/offer. If you have ideas share them in responses.]

Compulsory criteria for all attendees -

Every CEan must bring one or more (no limit to how many) friends along with him/her to the meet. Ask your engineer friends to create an account (register) on CE forums before coming to the meet. There is no age-limit or criteria as to who you can bring along with you. Anyone who is interested in meeting CEans and would like to be a part of an all engineers community is welcome.
If there is someone from the engineering industry, who are willing to come to the meet and share his/her experiences, that will be nice.

PS: It is time we start promoting the meet in every possible way. I request that those who are attending start spreading the word about the date and venue.
We will upload the notice tomorrow above the forum.

Guys dont hijack this thread, all talks about NCR meet or getting a tee should be done in separate thread 😀

Personal Identification, I think a larger group is staying together so that group doesnt need any identification. Others I would suggest that once we know who all are attending then we can exchange phone numbers and they can call us and we can get them its easy.

or if anyone person has a CE-Tee that table can be identified by the persons joining later.
so I dont think we need personal identification for everyone.
