well it tough,as far as i know highest paid salary should be INR 5-6L.P.A for freshers of-course if you have got experience it will increse!!!

well, are you sure with your reply cause 2 of my brothers get a 5L package after doing Mtech from IIT,they were selected through IIT's internal placement system.😒
and one person i know get a 18,000 gov. job at CDAC center after doing c-dac DAC from ACTS even he is one of the topper there.😔

so thats why i am totally confused what to do after BE take a drop & prepare
for GATE or join CDAC or do anything else plz suggest some other job oriented courses.😕

@ Demetron - Placement totally depends on your previous as well as current acedemic records. If you are pass out from a re-knowned engineering college and doing CDAC you may get higher salary other wise same would be compartively lesser for you.

About highest package.. I am advising you do not consider the last years highest salary as a creterion for deciding the admission at CDAC. As in current recession, its really hard to get a packahe of 3.5+ for a fresher and 5+ for a 2+ yrs experience guy.

I have given you some datas, now its your call how to go about it.

@ sauravgoswami - I am not sure that CDAC, Pune can offer 5.6 LPA to a freshers. Please confirm.

i think its better to take drop and prepare for GATE if not so successful,then at least i can do M.Tech from any good college and i hope a PG is always better then graduate degree to getting a good job.😀

ok but the problem is how to get a good job with at least 40,000 per month.😁 on the basis of BE degree only and if you screw up your BE like me then it is more require that get a better degree or training.

One of my friends got trained at CDAC (about 6 years ago) and I can tell you their courses then were absolutely great.

I'm not sure of the current status. Regarding job placements, I'm sure no one can guarantee jobs in current economic recession.

However, everyone can expect good signals by the year end.

but related to best college i suggest you to go for pune CDAC-ACTS center.

a. You want to know the highest placement salary of 2008? Money is not everything in a job ... I hope you know that. I know the guy who got the most paying job in 2009, and after 3 months, he is rethinking his job with an i-bank.
b. The same boy doesnt want to do coding either. Right now he is trying to figure out what he wants to do in life. I suggest you do the same.

+1 on godfather's post. If you want to be a prof., then do an MTech.

Would advise you to reach inside and find out what you want to do.

I am a BE ECE 2009 batch passed out candidate i have 2.4 years of total exp
1.4 years - Telecom(Secondary Vendor TSP)
1 year - Military Communication (Bharat Electronics Ltd)
I couldnt get any good opportunities So i planned to do Course from CDAC
I got seat in Sunbem pune for DiVESD course in first round
So friends what u can comment in my kinda situation
will it be worth doing the course as i really wana move towards R&D
what will be my condition after course with respect to placement
on or off campus whichever it is!!!!

I am a 2011 Passout and currently working in a Telecom MNC.
Looking into the future , i am not very optimistic about the Telecom domain and hence want to change my profile to Softwares.

So, i heard of CDAC , gave Exam and now got Rank-29 in the Dec C-CAT.
I believe that is good enough to get me into whatever course i want.

Please suggest, if i join CDAC- Pune, would that be beneficial for me ?

I expect if i join CDAC Pune, and get placed in some Software company at around 4.5 lpa that would be Good for me.
But the Problem is ::
1) B Tech marks are just a little above --> 65 % ( 10th and 12 th are well above 80. No problem in that )
2) I am a 2011 passout and that too in Instrumentation. Will that create any problem ??
3) Will CDAC really fetch me Good opportunities ???

you would find how many candidates are ahead from you in dac
there is A+B result we cant predict any thing from it
but somewhere in result page look out for statement saying
1234 people are above you in dac
this means 1235 is rank in dac
now with permutation and combination we can predict something.

First of all congrates you did great job in exam.
now let me talk about problem you mentioned
1. Marks you scored are good enough for placement criteria.
2. last year i did my CDAC aug 2012 and i was from ECE 2009 passout.
3. My score 10th 69%
12th 59%
BE 71%
CDAC DiVESD 65%
Not a single interview call i got from cdac placement i searched on my own and got one job,
its a small firm but i am working in linux with C programming language.
CDAC provides immense knowledge for sure. Rest is on your own. I wont comment on placement.

But its worth a risk, i took it you should also go for it. do not think much just go for it.

in pune thr would be more competition for placement... prev batch of bnglr dac has good placement record.. till date 86 out of 90 got placed and still companies are coming..
