    bro u can get iacsd akurdi in 2nd or 3rd round of counselling..
    sunbeam m not sure abt it ..

    Hello I have got 975 candidates above me for DAC ... Will I be able to get Sunbeam Gultekdi or Bangalore , I know I can't get cdac Pune acts.

    I have got Wimc Cdac pune acts
    975 students above ne in DAC
    Preferences
    1.Cdac Acts pune-dac
    2.sunbeam pune gultekdi-dac
    3.Bangalore knowledge park - DAC
    4.cdac acts pune - Wimc

    Is their any chance of getting any of the top 3 preferences as I have got the 4th one. Iam more interested in doing dac than wimc

    I got 2683 rank for A+B. is der any chance to get KnowIT Pune.... and by mistake it is my 4 the preference and I got allocated to 3 red preference ie Info way kothrud. how can I solve this problem? please help.
    in first round:
    1 cdac Acts Pune
    2 sunbeam
    3 info way kothrud..... (mistakenly) //allocated in first round....
    4 knowIT banner....

    I don't want Info way.. what can I do?

    i got iacsd after 2nd round of counclng...my rak was 2062 in dac...bt i am confuse is it difficult to study dac as i m from e.c branch...my desd rank is 999 ..please do tell me about iacsd placemnt record also

    This may be long sorry for it. But please if anyone is expert please help me in this regard.

    I am BITS Pilani Graduate with CGPA 8.0. I have applied for MS in US for Electronics and Computer Engineering specializing in System Software this Fall. I am hopeful but not sure whether I would get an admit. I am currently working in CA Technologies with a pretty good pay (>9lpa).

    I am really keen on system software rather than pure software, hence this switch of field. I had written CCAT for the sake of PG -DSSD and I got rank 6. However I didn't apply for any seats yet, so not allocated(plan to do it in the second counselling). If I get the seat in CDAC Bangalore(only applying for that) I would have to leave my job. And If I don't get MS admit, after completing CDAC what would be my condition(as I heard placements for DSSD are meek)

    I really need to go to Bangalore too for personal reasons, I am in Hyderabad Now. If anyone was patient enough to read through this junk. Please guide me as what I should do? I would be very grateful.

    hey rahul when u r on such a good packge thn why do u wnt to go for cdac.....bcoz it will not offer u on such a high pckg...bt if u wnt to enhnce ur knwldge u can go for it

    Has anybody heard about DSSD course. I m going to join Banglore(Knowledge park). But there is a problem I don't know placement records of it.
    Please share your ideas of this course and records.

    I have heard about it, one of my friends has done it in Bangalore. He said although it is a good course, it is highly hectic, and they don't teach logic. It is mostly cramming. His words "Light hai, sab kuch online kar sakte hai".

    I also was planning to do it, mainly because of the linux and windows device driver development. But I reached out to the head of the DSSD Department(G.L. Gangaprasad) there and he himself was skeptical about this course. The placements are very minimum for DSSD compared to DAC. Most of the people have to search on their own, and the few people who get placed are in the range of 3-4 lakhs only.

    I got allotted in the 3rd round, but I am not planning to join. You can refer to the course structure on their site for additional information.

    Hey Neelesh thankx. do u know, in the 2nd round I have allotted WiMC in same institute but unfortunately I got allotted DSSD course in 3rd round. I think Wimc is better to do than DSSD. I have no choice at this time and now I am planing to join.

    Oh. Btw Wimc still has openings in Pune which is a better center. In Mumbai and Kolkata too, there are vacancies. I think you can get it in the 2nd Counselling. Anyway decide and join the correct course, think about your interests. What you want to do next, don't join just because you got some course.
