I think the topics that you should cover are -
Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Data Base Management Systems, Operating System, Computer Networks, General English - Spotting Errors/Error Identification Test, Sentence Completion Test, Quantitative Aptitude, Number System, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Logical Reasoning, Analogy, Series Completion, Blood Relations etc.

If students don't want to spend money on books. They can search for these topics on Google Books. There won't be the typical book names. But if you search, you can land up on a pile of good reference books.

Quants r very easy for CCAT entrance exam ..if u dont know the formula also but apply little bit of common sense u can crack the question...main thing is time management ..if u can manage time well..u can crack ccat easily
