Nowadays we can see a lot of cases in the news, about road mishaps, especially of lorries, trucks and buses colliding with each other.

but the problem is quite natural.

Because unlike the drivers of passenger cars, the drivers of these vehicles are professional, and they drive for a living. thus they spend more time behind the wheel per day, than the drivers of the passenger cars, and they either fall asleep while driving, or rather suffer from health problems, which leads to road mishaps.

now guys can you suggest ways by which we can make those vehicles more driver friendly and contribute to the reduction in road accidents. the automatic steering, is one option.

Interesting problem it is to solve. Check out some progress on "#-Link-Snipped-#". The best way to tackle this is to identify the most accident prone zones and equip each car with a mechanism to detect other cars and then automatically adjust speeds. Alternatively, each can can have a detection mechanism that will adjust the speeds and controls according to other cars in its vicinity. I guess Google has done quite some advances on this.

By which you mean we can use proximitiy sensors , just as it is being used in most german cars.
