Audi A2 Electric Concept Car Features Intensive Dynamic Lighting

Audi announced its A2 electric concept car at the 64th International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The Audi A2 electric is a 4 seated premium-standard space concept car which is 3.80 meters long, 1.69 meters wide and 1.49 meters high which makes a  powerful & sporty visual impact on the streets.



The car's roof top sports a dark glass which switches to transparency on the push of a button. It features a matrix beam headlamp which consists of LEDs and microreflectors which generates non-glaring and high resolution beam of light. The tail light adjusts to the environmental conditions outside which is seen as a beam of light in fog & projects a triangle on to the road as a warning for other drivers behind.

Approach sensors detect owners & uses gesture controls for unlocking the car doors. Dynamic lighting throughout the car demonstrates various functionalities like side marker light runs the entire side of the car & it runs throughout the band of light when indicator is activated and a red bar of light flows through the tail and the light grows brighter, the harder the brakes are pressed. The A2 has a flat interior floorboard with enough space between the rear seats to hold a city bicycle.
