the DIVSED is good course. coz it combines VLSI as well as some of Embedded sys.
its good course for carrier. too..
I Think after this u ll have good job starting in core companies.
I have tried direct job search. and its little tough , though not impossible..

actually there is a little story behind this,at d time of cdac test my frnd was feeling d form & he told me to do,so as a tp filled the form & gave d exam .at d time of result i didnt check my result,my frnd did & guess wat i got selected h& my frnd not & still i dont know my rank,but my frnd did.i have to ask him.

mee to got mumbai tica but divesd but i will opt this and pay 10k bcz if i think if we wait more 6 mnth fr another attempt nothing could be change nd for EC n EE vese bhi psu gate hi hota but here i got chance so not leaving this nd ithnk mumbai near pune so region wise ccpp common placement program we will seat with dvlsi dviesd pune student at placmnt drives ...wahtever i will go for bcz psu to bhot jda competion bjay vlsi cdac se krk

If u paid 10,000 rs it is confirmation that u are taking admissn in cdac then there is 2nd rnd .in which u will get higher preference coll if there is any seat vacant .bt what's about company's criteria .i have not through out 60.only last year percentage is 64 .is there company visiting keeping no criteria & considering only cdac performance.actually i m going to enquire all about that .

hmmm means you hv 10 n 12 also 60 above nd bachlore degree frist classs na ...... i think vlsi criteria is too tough bcz as they hire less my freinds working in vlsi say that if hiring very lessthay smtimes go for even 70 through but no problem thay said if u hv imense knowlegde than bnglorewill welcome u by hvning so many c,mnpnies that requier gutsyyyyy engineer in vlsi bcz cmnpnies get hire prcg candiadates but cound nt stand much time in vlsi nd they said that in india cdac people are easliy welcome in such cmpnies as they know cdac students fight hard in their learnig of 12 to 13 hors dail domain studying of vlsi nd embeded so its remeber so many ec nd ee peole are seaching jobs but very less work in vlsi bcz ofknowledge so dnt wry believe on cdac staff

My preferences are as follows
1) PG- Desd is pune,bangalore, hyd... respectively
2) PS-DIVESD,sunbeam,pune and Tica mumbai
But in the first round of seat allotment i have got TICA ,mumbai.... which is nt 1 of my highly prefered centre..
So kindly suggest abt my chances of getting a seat in DIVESD sunbeam ,pune or DESD bangalore/hyd in the second n third round of councelling...?

Today I called TICA Mumbai for this .they told 3 teacher for DAC course and only 1 batch passout ant placement is 95%.But I don't know anything personally about TICA.
