AMD FX-Series CPU Line-Up Revealed

Long awaited line-up of AMD's FX series processors code-named "Bulldozer" has been unveiled. Details of the FX series processors were in cloud since CES 2011. Now we have a list of the detailed specifications and these are rumored to be released around September & October window.

We have six processors in the FX series line-up with varying wattage & frequency. The top 8-core model being the FX-8150 clocked at 3.6GHz, 8MB L3 Cache and 125W CPU. The System Bus is at 5200 MT/s, a 1200 MT/s increase from its previous generations of CPUs. There are two FX-8120 clocked 3.1GHz and same 8MB L3 Cache with only a difference in the wattage, one being a 125W where as the other is a 95W CPU. We also have a 6-core and a 4-core model in the line-up, one being the FX-6100 (6-core) clocked at 3.3GHz and the other is the FX-4100 (4-core) clocked at 3.6GHz. Both having 8MB L3 Cache, 5200 MT/s Bus System & 95W TDP. All of the six processors in the FX series line-up are 32nm processors with a B2 stepping.0MHz
