AMD FirePro W9000, W8000, W7000 and W5000 Graphics Cards Launched
AMD has launched its next-gen graphics cards series with FirePro⢠W9000, W8000, W7000 and W5000 and are calling it the world's most powerful graphics cards ever. The leader in this series - FirePro W9000 GPU has multi-display support (30" independent displays with ultra-high 4096x2160 resolutions) and features increased memory bandwidth. Whereas, the W8000, W7000 and W5000 are designed to work for 3D technology for CAD/CAE and other media or engineering purposes. All of these cards can handle complex models and support dynamic power, while exhibiting efficient power usage.
With a price of USD$3,999 on the FirePro W9000 card, you get 6GB of high speed GDDR5 memory and with the presence of GCN and GeometryBoost, this GPU achieves a record of 1.95 billon triangles per second. On the other hand, FirePro W8000 and W7000 - both feature 4GB of high speed GDDR5 memory and can be bought for USD$1,599 and USD$899 respectively.
