Amazon Game Studios Enters Social Gaming Market With 'Living Classics'

Amazon is surely working hard to expand its coverage into other realms. This time they have announced their entry into the gaming arena with Amazon Game Studios, a game development studio that will be focused on making games that are innovative, fun and well crafted. The studio debuted in the social gaming platform by introducing a hidden object game called as “Living Classics” on Facebook. This game is based on the story line where a family of foxes is lost among the animated illustrations from classic tales and the objective of the player is to find out the moving objects among these illustrations which would help them reunite the family. This being a social game, enables users to visit their friends and share the rewards that they have earned by playing the game.

The entry of the studio into the social gaming segment has been justified by the company in a statement released on their official website which states that the company has found people spend much time on social platforms and they can utilize the knowledge base of Amazon to develop games that can be played anytime, anywhere.
