This article calls for a comparison between Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
The bigger question for me, what would be the difference between Lightroom and Lightroom mobile.

Would it be just the size and lighter version?
If yes, that I am bit puzzled; A professional photographer would definitely have the Lightroom or Photoshop CS6; then why would they spend the money on light room mobile?

#-Link-Snipped-# This is one of the best comparisons between Lightroom and Photoshop - <a href="https://photographylife.com/photoshop-vs-lightroom" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Photoshop vs Lightroom - What You Need to Know</a>

I believe Lightoom mobile is designed for the mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, in this case the iPad.
Now the powerful editing software like Lightroom doesn't need you keep hooked to the desktop. You can edit stuff on the go.

Very nice article this is, and actually I referred this just before posting my reply.

I am still amazed if a professional photographer will ever prefer a lighter version of Photoshop app over a desktop version.

Regular users who just want to touch up the images will surely want to avoid this app considering the hefty price tag and I agree with #-Link-Snipped-# 's view that pro users shall always use the desktop version instead of the mobile version as they get to work on a bigger screen and they have much more accuracy.
