  We should differentiate between anthropogenic warming (which can be minimized by concerted commitment) and regular geological warming due to the dynamics of the solar system. The anti-warming brigade harps on past history of natural warming.
  The problem is that human activity adds to the warming and MAY fairly soon tilt the warming beyond reversibility.
  
  What we put up should address this issue. Probably we should also take into account such natural warming to show that we are not scaremongering out of sheer cussedness.

  60% of earth's glaciers are in the Himalayas. Many of them have receded and shrunk. Predictions (Scary and not necessarily correct for time line) that the river Ganges, which accounts for close to 2/3 agricultural output in India, may become a seasonal river in this generation send shivers up the spine.
  
  Unfortunately, these are geological phenomena with a long time line. Difficult to portray in a dramatic fashion to egg the ordinary citizen to take action to conserve. Let us all collectively contribute. Enough two cents worth will make a dollar! There is no quick fix answer.

  That is a good idea. One concern is that a single video will be too long, unwieldy and may even turn off people. Would it be possible to divide this into chapters or episodes all of which come under one umbrella? Each section will address one aspect. e.g. Chapter 3. Species threatened by loss of habitat due to Global Warming.
  There can be a sticky of continuously updated index to individual episodes. Make the titles sufficiently descriptive. e.g. Dr.Agarwal on Cleaning the Ganges (upper Reaches) with a clickable link so that an interested person can directly go there.
