3D Landmarks On Google Maps Get More Eye-Catchy!

3D Google Maps have been around for quite some time, but the images that we got were very unrealistic. The whole point behind getting a 3D View is to get a complete idea of the space and the monuments or buildings. And guess what, Google has come up with a decent change. The software engineers from the Google Maps team have brought  very precise and real-looking 3D maps. The quality of the 3D Landmarks has been enhanced and now more than thousands of them from across the glove have been modified for the better picture.

Just imagine, if users combine the other Google Maps features like Driving Directions or Street View with these 3D landmarks, what they will get is, the way Google puts it, the most advanced 'Tourist Map' on planet Earth. Google has mentioned that these advanced 3D buildings will be available soon on Google MapsGL as well. There is no official word as to when these will be available on the mobile version. But, it's time that people would want to get rid of their old, boring, flat maps. What should we expect to be the next update from the Google Maps team? Perhaps, a 3D view of the insides of the building could raise some eyebrows.
