Dear engineers, I noticed a strange software service called 'Yufu Fan' running in the background on my MacOS.

I noticed that it's auto-enabled and it's definitely not from Apple. I'm wondering if I should disable it or leave it untouched. Let me know.

The YuFu Fan service running in background is harmless. It's installed by the Dell software, when you install the drivers for your monitor.

Although, it's bit surprising. The Dell monitors do not have fans inside. Not sure about the Alienware lineup though.

Have you tried disabling it? Does it throw any error?

    Thank you, Steve.

I did disable the service and it hasn't produced any side-effects yet. Yes, I do have a Dell U2723QE monitor and I actually installed the drivers. Looks like they are not needed anymore. Not sure how to uninstall them though.

It looks like the software is harmless.
