ZTE Star 1 Android Quad-Core Smartphone Launched In China At CNY 1,399
ZTE corporation has launched a new smartphone in China called the ZTE Star 1. Although there's no official word from ZTE about the smartphone's global launch, we now have the details about the smartphone's technical specifications and important features. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the ZTE Star 1 is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor. The smartphone features a 5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920) IPS display and packs inside it 1 GB of RAM. Coming in two internal storage options - 16GB and 32GB, the ZTE Star 1 supports only one SIM card.
On the rear end of the smartphone, there's a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and BIS (back-illuminated sensor), whereas on the front there's a 5-megapixel camera for making video calls back home.
The connectivity options on this smartphone include - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ AGPS and 3G. Deriving its power from a 2300mAh battery, the smartphone offers just about average talk time.
