ZTE Grand Memo II Launched At MWC 2014, Specs & Features Detailed

The Chinese mobile handset manufacturer ZTE today announced its Grand Memo II LTE phablet at MWC. It is an ultra slim smartphone with 6” 720p IPS display with just 7.2mm slim waistline. The display has wide viewing angles at 178 degrees and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage provided is 16GB which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Grand Memo II sports a 13MP rear snapper with F2.2 aperture, Sony BSI sensor, autofocus and flash. A fixed focus 5MP front camera is also present, optimised for video calling. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with ZTE’s new MiFavor 2.3 user interface which brings a range of new icons and offers easy-to-use handset experience.

The device packs a 3200mAh battery. ZTE promises 16 hours of continuous HD video playback and 72 hours of music playback or several days of normal use. The price is not yet known.

It will be first launched in April in China, followed with simultaneous rollout in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
