  • The Chinese multinational company, ZTE Corp. has launched its 4G LTE smartphone called ‘Blade Qlux 4G’ in India. Priced at Rs 4,999, the dual SIM (both micro SIM) handset will be exclusively available for purchase via internet-based retailer, Amazon.in from June 16, 2015. The company is providing 4G/3G double data offer from Airtel and the offer details are provided on Amazon.in site. ZTE claims that the smartphone is capable of providing data speed up to 150 Mbps on LTE CAT 4 networks.

    Powered by Quad Core (chipset: Mediatek MTK6732M) processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, Blade Qlux 4G runs slightly old Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system. However, the operating system is upgradable to Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The Blade Qlux 4G smartphone has only 4.5 inch FWVGA screen with IPS panel which renders resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. On the memory front, it encloses 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB).

    According to ZTE, Blade Qlux 4G comes with an outstanding battery life as it packs 2200 mAh battery. It provides talk time of 12 hours and standby time up to 250 hours. There is 8 MP primary camera with features such as auto focus, LED flash and HDR on the rear side of the smartphone for making any moment a memorable one. It sports 5 MP FF camera for selfies. Other camera features include Panorama, face detection, continuous shot, and anti flicker.

    The sleek handset in black finish with blue design accent measures 134.5 mm x 67.4 mm x 10.3 mm and weighs 154 g. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro USB, GLONASS, and digital compass. The handset supports 4G bands- Band 3 (1800 Mhz) /Band 40 (2300 Mhz). Moreover, it is also optimized to work with GSM and HSPA networks. The Blade Qlux 4G is equipped with sensors such as Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
